This is a story about my Virtual Assistant business, ExecuStrive. An unusual name to be sure - how did I create this name? Well, it was a lot of hard work. Making lists and lists of words, thinking of word combos, descriptive words, unusual words was all part of the process. I emailed my friends, family, business networking friends and several virtual assistant online forums for feedback.
Nothing but nothing just "clicked" in my head. So I went to a business coach to ask for help as a sounding board for my business name. We talked several times, he sent me information to help me think the process through in a different way then we talked again. I described the words I lists as my favorite and suddenly - he came up with the combo "new" word ExecuStrive. Execu , the shortened version of executive since I wanted to work with micro business owners in a similar way that admins work in the corporate world. Strive which described the EFFECT of what I do - give the owner time to do what they do best and grow their company.
